About Us
EMT Associates, Inc. provides evaluation, management, and training services to public and nonprofit organizations primarily in the areas of health and human services and criminal/juvenile justice. Established in 1981, EMT has offices in Sacramento and Los Angeles, California. Over the past 24 years, we have completed over 200 projects in a variety of consulting capacities including policy analysis, applied research, program evaluation, technical assistance, and training. These projects have been conducted for federal, state, and local government agencies as well as for nonprofit and private organizations. Our projects range from multi-million dollar national cross-site evaluations to relatively small consulting engagements for local government.
EMT Online University is an outgrowth of our research consulting and training experience. We have an extensive background in the fields of substance abuse prevention and mentoring programs. Recognizing the clear trend for increasing online delivery of professional development training in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors, EMT has made a strong commitment to online training services. Online training offers many benefits to both training providers and learners. High-quality training content can be delivered at low cost through self-paced, interactive e-learning products.
EMT has been developing its online training capabilities since 2003. Beginning with substance abuse prevention and mentoring, our catalog of courses will grow over time.
